Retro
Inspired by Mad Men, retro is back with a bang. Retro
style eyewear is undoubtedly becoming mainstream - for men the
round Gregory Peck styles feature heavily in 2012 trends and for
women, the 50's cat-eye and butterfly styles are predominant in the
market.
Flat Brushed Metal
Many brands are moving away from the classic plastic/acetate
frames and a clear trend emerging was the flat brushed metal
frames. These styles are minimalistic with little or no
branding on the frames.
Geek Chic
With Glee back on our screen, there no escaping the Geek Chic
styles. Deeper frames with slimmer legs featuring more
colours will be trending into 2012.
